We have different skin types and colours, concerns and goals, and some habits that are not – all of which impacts the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with treatment and skincare  out there, understanding and finding the right plan can be a little bit of a minefield.


If you have mild skin concerns or you’d like to feel more in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a specialist practitioner or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper understanding of your skin, and which treatment and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation


Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any  skin  and what your skin goals are. We combine that information with a full skin examination and assessment, so we can create the right treatment and plan for you.


During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or from so we can fully examine your skin, assessing the texture, thickness and colour which could such as acne or pigmentation. Your skin will also be under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, congested or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress  your treatment plan.


We’ll then discuss your daily and skincare and plan to get the best for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of  chemical peels, or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. Depending on your goals or the of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or specialist nurse. And if you are interested in injectables as a solution to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.


To secure an appointment, we will require a deposit. Your credit or debit card will be secured your booking. Virtual are free of charge to a £25 deposit. consultations are priced at £50. Please refer to our for more information.

Book a General skin analysis and consultation skin with a nurse or practitioner. Ideal for those with mild to skin mild acne, skin, open pores, pigmentation, dull skin and mild signs of ageing, or for those who are simply just unsure where to start. Your skin will be fully  for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised  plan will be recommended. If you have more pronounced skin concerns that require a doctor or , we may refer you, and can also refer you to a nurse prescriber or doctor for .


To secure an appointment, we will require a . Your credit or debit card will be secured against your booking. For Practitioner or Nurse consultations we take a fully refundable ( to terms) deposit of £25 and £50 for Doctor led consultations. Please refer to our for more information.


Your skin lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, discuss your concerns and create a recommended treatment plan.


The consultation is completely free, but we do a £25 deposit to secure your consultation. You won’t be charged if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your appointment over 48 hours before your appointment in line with our  policy.​


The cost of your treatment and/or skincare plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but treatment can start from £59, on your clinic.


Your consultation will be with one of our experienced specialist nurses or practitioners with extensive of the skin. Should you have a more severe skin concern, they can also refer you into a doctor or  if you need to see one. Please note these with a doctor or dermatologist are  and do require a refundable* deposit – please check the consultation price before booking. We can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber for an   if you are concerned about the signs of ageing. These  are free, but we do require a refundable* £50 deposit to secure your . Please check our  for more information.


We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the if you wish.


Our expert skin will ask a variety of which are designed to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin . For example:


You can wear makeup to your appointment, however, we recommend that you come makeup free so that we can spend the maximum amount of time your skin. We cannot fully examine your skin with makeup on as we need to assess the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate such as acne or sensitivity.


Step 1 – We will have a chat with you about everything you don’t love about your skin, whether you have any particular concerns and what your goals are to help us create your personalised plan.


Step 2 – Before photos will be taken, us to track your progress throughout your plan.


Step 3 – Your skin will be examined under a skin * which will indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, congested, etc. Our practitioners will also touch your skin to allow us to assess the texture, and sensitivity of your skin.


Step 4 – Our expert will create a personalised treatment plan for you, which could combine both treatments and an at-home product regime. We may several options including chemical peels, microneedling, laser or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. If you have a more severe concern, such as cystic acne, we will refer you to a doctor. If you are interested in anti-ageing to boost your confidence, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber.
