We have skin types and colours, and goals, and some habits that are not – all of which impacts the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with treatment and skincare options out there, and the right plan can be a little bit of a minefield.
If you have mild skin or you’d like to feel more confident in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a specialist practitioner or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper understanding of your skin, and which treatment and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation
Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any particular skin concerns and what your skin goals are. We that information with a full skin examination and assessment, so we can create the right treatment and plan for you.
During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or products from so we can fully examine your skin, including the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate concerns such as acne or . Depending on your goals or the severity of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or nurse. And if you are in injectables as a solution to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.

If you have more pronounced skin concerns that a doctor or , we may refer you, and can also refer you to a nurse prescriber or doctor for .
To secure an appointment, we will require a deposit. Your credit or debit card will be against your . For Practitioner or Nurse we take a fully refundable ( to terms) deposit of £25 and £50 for Doctor led . Please refer to our for more information.
Your skin lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, your and create a recommended treatment plan.
The is completely free, but we do a £25 deposit to secure your . You won’t be charged if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your appointment over 48 hours before your appointment in line with our policy.
The cost of your treatment and/or skincare plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but can start from £59, on your clinic.

Please note these consultations with a doctor or dermatologist are chargeable and do require a refundable* – please check the consultation price before booking. We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the consultation if you wish.
